EXIT TO THE CITY

Exhibition “Exit to the City”

The exhibition “Exit to the City” transfers the street hero Yoyo into the gallery format and introduces him to the audience. The yellow hero strolls around the city. “Strolling” is a term of French origin, meaning a walk through the streets during which one takes pleasure in contemplating city life.

Despite martial law, whose events permeate everything around us, there are still reasons for joy simply by walking through the city, as the hero of the paintings does. Yoyo is constantly present in urban space: either on the walls of buildings or inside paintings.
